Follow Me Around Athens & Aegean Island, Greece!

Hi there! I went to Athens in the Spring of May 2014. It was sunny and cold as the beautiful flowers blooming. I was surprised to see lots of miserable people in the metro subway train. Nonetheless, i went to visit some of the touristic places. I was staying in Victoria street which is not far from Acropolis. Acropolis is a must-see. You get to see the Greek ruins. You have to climb the hills though. The Parthenon is still under construction. I purchased the tickets which allows me to visit all the touristic places and museum in Athens with a very affordable price for many days. What a bargain! I compare Greece with Turkey as they have many similarities. It is sad that Greece is in crisis. I stayed in Greece for a week. My Greek friend who was working in Crete came to visit me in Athens, while he had to do some polling for a new Prime Minister. He works in a prison in Crete. It was nice of him to show me the city places and people. I am surprised that their policemen are very handsome. Like looking at a male model catalog. In the hotel i was staying, i get to make friends with some Singaporeans, Japanese, Brazilians, Canadians and Australians. My new Australian friend was planning to live in a farm in Spain. She won't get paid but they will provide food and accommodation for her volunteering work at the farm taking care of horses. She just needed time to off travelling to figure out what she wants to do with her life. The Brazilian people are good-looking but not as hot as i expected. In TV, they seem to portray hot Brazilians. But the ones i met seem decent and educated. The Greek beer tastes like water. It's very diluted. The female cashier at the supermarket aren't friendly to Asians. But the Greek men at the restaurants are very friendly. One of the reasons i came back with long blonde hair.

I took a ferry to Aegean Island as i had not enough time to go to Santorini Island. The best part of going to Greece is definitely to see the Mediterranean Islands. Beautiful weather and scenery. Greek people are very good-looking i must say. And hot too. I took a horse carriage around the Island. I thought to myself, i must come back again and see Santorini Island. The city wasn't as much fun. But i'm glad i had my Greek friend to show me around. I took the metro from the airport and everywhere else. We attend an election party. I feel i know the city pretty well. And i'm coming back for sure.
