Hi everyone! I went to visit Santorini Island in Greece on October 2014. I've been wanting to go for the longest time. I was staying in Perissa and Perivolos near to the Black Sea. It is very convenient as they have buses and taxis to the city centre where you can see the picturesque places that they post on the internet. It is called Fira and the other place where you can visit the Old Castle to see the sunset is Oia. At Fira, you can ride a donkey or mule, take a cable car ride, take a boat to Volcanic Island and swim in the natural hot spring water, eat, shop and there are some bars too. In Oia, there is the iconic blue church, restaurants, shops, the old Castle and people having wedding photoshoots with the breath-taking scenery. They are also famous for their wines.
In Santorini, there are many beaches and beach restaurants and bars. There is Red Beach, Black Beach and etc. You can see farms around there as well. The famous beer there is the Crazy Donkey Brewery. I was invited to their private party held at the brewery. It was awesome and interesting. I get to make friends with French, Serbian and Albanian people. The tourist in the island can enjoy riding a cool, huge motorbike around the island. But you have to have a driving licence. I really miss that beautiful place. It's sad that Greece is in economic crisis. Love you Santorini! So peaceful, beautiful and they have beautiful and kind people.
